New AIG Zone 2, assured residents of safety of live and properties

The Assistant Inspector General of Police Zone 2, Bala Hassan has assured Nigerians that the police is up to the task in ensuring the protection of lives and property.
He said the police will collaborate with other security agents to ensure that people who pick pocket were arrested.
Also, Mr. Bala Hassan appealed to the parents to ensure adequate monitoring of their children in schools to curb the menace of secret cults in the society.
He said police is organizing lectures in territory institutions and police games as a way of engaging the youths and enlightening them on dangers associated with cultism.
Speaking on the upcoming burial of Awolowo's wife, the security would be beefed up in all parts of Ogun and neighbouring states to ensure safety of lives and property of dignitaries, pointing out that ten  thousand police and other security personnel would be deployed to nook and cranny of the state.
Meanwhile, the Assistance Inspector of Police enjoined Nigerians to be security conscious during the coming Christmas festival, urging them not to reveal their traveling information to their house girls so that they will not take advantage of it to rub them of their property.
He called on people to be moderate their spending and avoid lavish spending so as not to be a victim of armed robbers.
The AIG said in case of gunshot, people should lying down and call the police for the protection.
