Bankers who allegedly defrauded their employer gets bail

The Police has arraigned two bankers before a Lagos magistrate court sitting in Igbosere on four count charges which borders on conspiracy, forgery, fraud and stealing.

Police docked bank cashier for alleged stealing

A 32 year old cashier with First Bank of Nigeria Ltd, Timothy Adewale who allegedly defrauded the bank to the tune of about five million naira was charged before an Igbosere Magistrate's Court by police.

A special panel constituted by Court of Appeal sitting in Lagos has set aside the judgment of a Lagos High Court that banned students in public primary and secondary schools in Lagos State from putting on Hijab (Muslims headscarf) with their school uniforms.

A 50 year old man Totoola Adetunji, who allegedly assaulted a police officer Corporal John Olusegun, was arraigned before a Lagos Magistrate's Court sitting at Igbosere.

Alleged housing fraud: Police arraigned agents for defrauding prospective tenant

A 71-year-old clearing agent, Bamidele Doherty, who allegedly obtained about three million naira from a prospective tenant under guise of being a landlord, was docked before an Igbosere Magistrates' Court in Lagos.
Doherty, was charged alongside three Estate agents, Jubrin Yusuf, Mathew Adeniyi, and Kehinde Adeleye.

N22.8bn Fraud: Air Marshal Amosu, Others applied for Plea Bargain

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), prosecutor, Mr. Rotimi Oyedepo, has informed a Lagos Federal High Court, that, former Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Adesola Amosu Nunayon (Rtd), two senior serving Air Force officers, Air Vice Marshal Jacob Bola Adigun, Air Commodore Gbadebo Owodunni Olugbenga, who were charged before court, on 23 counts  bordering on Fraud, money laundering and stealing have applied for a plea bargaining.

Justice Sulaiman Hassan, of a Lagos Federal High Court, has admitted bail to the two former Ministers and chieftains of People's Democracy Party (PDP), Nenadi Esther Usman and Mr. Femi Fani-kayode and one Danjuman Yussuf, who were charged before the court, on alleged N4. 9 billion, in the sum of two hundred and fifty million naira with two sureties in the like sum.
