Former Vice-chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Ikeja, Branch popularly known as the Tiger Branch, Mr. Adesina Ogunlana has emerged as the new Chairman of the branch.
Mr. Ogunlana replaces Mr. Yinka Farounbi, whose tenure just ended.
The Chairman of the Electoral Committee, Adebamigbe Omale, who declared the result at the NBA Ikeja Secretariat, said Ogunlana polled 94 votes to defeat two other contestants.
Other contestants were Mr. Aguegbodo Batholomew, 53 votes and Ms Gloria Nweze, 51 votes.
Also elected are Carol Ibharuneafe, Vice Chairman, Muna Esegine, Secretary, Adedokun Issa Akanji, Asst. Secretary, Akinwale Ajibola, Publicity Secretary, Coco-Bassey Thelma, Treasurer, Okeke Uju, Financial Secretary, Jemerigbe Eyimofe, Social Secretary and Tanimowo Olurant as Welfare Secretary.
The new executives who will take charge the administration of the association for the next two years have been sworn in yesterday.
